Coming from a family of farmers, Sanjay Rai came to Gujrat at the age of 17 all the way from Assam to make his dreams come true. When he came to Gujrat, he was just a high school graduate with no other major support. His entrepreneurial journey started in 1997 with a loan of 1 lac that he received from the Government under Prime Minister Rozgaar Yojana. Hard work and perseverance to gain excellence ensured that today he is the Chairman and Managing Director of a US$ 500 million business conglomerate that has global operations spanning seven countries.
The Group today has business interest in a variety of industries including chemicals, hydrocarbons, salt, green fuels, mining, agriculture and many more.
